Shadow Image and Special Effects Implementation Techniques for Virtual Shadow Puppet Play

This paper describes the shadow puppet play which is a modelling technique using OpenGL in order to produce realtime shadow image. Besides, the novelty of this paper is to improve the interaction of shadow puppet play by applying both the texture mapping and the blending technique. The integration of these methods gives the special lighting effects that are vital for the quality improvement of the traditional shadow puppet play.
